MINISTER VAN ROOYEN TO ADDRESS IMATU NATIONAL CONGRESS

Des van RooyenThe Independent Municipal and Allied Trade Union (IMATU) is hosting its 5th National Congress from 15 – 17 March 2016. The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr David Des van Rooyen will be delivering the opening address.

The purpose of this Congress is to evaluate the progress that our organisation has made since its last Congress in 2010, discus key focus areas around the provision of services as well as providing strategic goals for the future.

The Minister’s Address is scheduled to begin at 09h00 and members of the media are welcome to cover the event.
